v0.10.0 - Marbles, minions, and more!


This update has too many changes to reasonably list! This post will focus on the major additions.

Changelog

  • Persistent marbles and stamps now work! You'll start the game with just one marble, and any other marbles or stamps you find while playing will stick around after you die or win. Note that your progress will be cleared when you exit the game completely. Save files coming soon!
  • A new type of powerup has been introduced in the form of "minion" marbles, which summon creatures to fight for you
  • The player no longer has armor by default - armor must be found in the form of a "passive" marble
  • The player now has health! If you get low, you can get back to full health by picking up the pellets dropped by mobs. Upgrades to increase your max health coming soon!
  • New run upgrades
  • New menu animations, HUD elements, and other visual enhancements
  • Optimized many textures in the game, reducing file size and improving performance on lower-end systems
  • And more! Play the demo to experience it all
